Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION in Boston is seeking a Program Manager to partner with the COO Investment Management Services to deliver strategic initiatives and drive OKRs. You will define, document, and implement program governance across technology and business teams to meet IM requirements and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage global resources and budgets while coordinating onboarding, testing and migration activities

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Computer Science.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • 10 years experience in a large financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance and execution of strategic initiatives across IM.
  • Define program governance with technology and business teams.
  • Manage resources, budgets and global program inputs.
  • Coordinate onboarding, testing and migration activities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Storage, Security, Cloud and Applications teams.
  • Maintain project plans, status reports and issue logs.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Be the primary face-off with COO Investment Management Services pillars and the IM CAO Strategic Program Management organization - to deliver Strategic initiatives and drive to achieving IM Objective Key Results (OKRs).
  • The Program Manager should be able to work with technology and business to define, document and implement appropriate program governance and execution.
  • Understand program/project level requirements including the products being used in Investment Management (IM) organizations to determine how they can be leveraged or eliminated.
  • Ensuring the target state solution supports IM business requirements.
  • Drive the joint and internal governance with all stakeholders. This includes the development and maintenance of project plans, status reports, issue and action logs and scope and requirements documents.
  • Ensuring active issue management and facilitating decision-making are critical to the role.
  • Manage subject matter experts and project managers supporting workstreams to deliver the end-to-end solution.
  • Track resources, hours and hiring for resources, and rolling up globally with inputs from Global teams.
  • Compile resource plans and financial program budgets.
  • Coordinate application onboarding, testing, and migration activities.
  • Partner across technology teams such as: (Engineering, Storage, Security, Cloud, and Application teams) to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage dependencies across technology teams and workstreams to insure coordinated/successful delivery.

  • Undergraduate degree – with demonstrated interest in Business, Finance or Computer Science
  • Excellent writing skills
  • PMP certification preferred
  • 10 years experience in large Financial Institution
Salary range

Salary Range: $110,000 - $188,750 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
