Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

A Technical Assembler I will use a variety of hand/power tools, fixtures, work instructions, mechanical prints and electrical schematics to assemble Product Inspection equipment while meeting our safety and quality standards. What you will do:

  • Follow detailed mechanical prints, electrical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Construct product inspection equipment in accordance with Risk Assessment and Safe Mechanical and Electrical guidelines
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to Assembly Lead and/or Assembly Manager
  • Document actions by completing quality checklists
  • Work with Engineering to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality
  • Provide hands‑on job function training to coworkers as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing function
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co‑workers, and management
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Accurately track and record time spent on projects
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Follow detailed electrical and mechanical schematics, parts lists, assembly instructions, processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years assembly experience
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Quality and safety awareness
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (i.e., stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to work overtime
