Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies LLC seeks an experienced data engineering leader to design and deliver large-scale data solutions on Azure Databricks and Delta Lake. You will drive ingestion, transformation pipelines, and data warehousing initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to define scope and timelines.

You will mentor a team of data engineers, ensure secure, compliant architectures, and stay current with Databricks and Azure services to push innovation forward.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years of IT experience including 4 years specializing in building data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Databricks, Synapse notebooks and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong understanding of data analytics with DWH projects and multiple industry domains.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills for presenting analyses to stakeholders.
• Solid communication, leadership and mentoring abilities for guiding a team of data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and define engagement scope with reasonable timelines.
• Ensure architecture and processes are documented, with strong security and governance compliance.
• Promote code quality, data security and scalable design across the team.
• Stay current with Databricks, Delta Lake, and related Azure services to drive innovation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Communicate clearly and resolve issues proactively; lead and mentor junior engineers.

Job description

1The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of bigdatatechnologiesdataengineering and cloud computing DWH Projects with a focus on AzureDatabricks

2Work closely with business stakeholders and other IT teams to understand requirements and define the scope for engagement with reasonable timeline

3Ensure proper documentation of architecture processes while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards

4Ensure best practices are followed by team in terms of code qualitydatasecurity and scalability

5Stay updated with the latest developments inDatabricksand associated technologies to drive innovation

6Positive attitude and excellent communication skills to manage customer calls Excellent problemsolving skills Good communication Team collaboration

Overall 12 years of experience along with 5 years ofdata Analyticsproject experience

Experience with AzureDatabricksnotebook development and Delta Lake

Good understanding of Azure services like AzureDataLake Azure Synapse and AzureDataFactory Fabric

Experience with ETLELT processesdatawarehousing and buildingdatalakes

SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases

Experience with CICD pipelines and version control systems like Git
