Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Databricks Certified Architect in Washington, DC (Hybrid). The role focuses on designing enterprise-scale data/AI solutions, building scalable data pipelines, and implementing governance and security using Unity Catalog.

You will lead migrations to Databricks, mentor engineers, and optimize workloads for performance and cost while collaborating with business users on AI-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for the position.
• 12+ years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise data/AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise scale solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Architect end-to-end data pipelines for batch and real-time processing using Spark and PySpark.
• Develop scalable data ingestion, transformation, and data quality frameworks.
• Design and implement Medallion Architecture using Delta Lake.
• Build and optimize data warehouses, data marts, and analytical solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, lineage, and access controls using Unity Catalog.
• Develop AI/BI dashboards, semantic models, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Configure Genie Spaces for natural language business queries and conversational analytics.
• Design and deploy Generative AI and RAG-based solutions using Mosaic AI and Vector Search.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into scalable data/AI solutions.
• Optimize Databricks workloads for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Lead cloud native implementations across Azure environments.
• Define architecture standards and reusable design patterns.
• Mentor data engineers, analysts, and architects on Databricks platforms.
• Lead migrations from legacy data warehouses to Databricks.
• Create semantic models and trusted data assets for AI-driven reporting.

• Automate data validation, monitoring, and governance controls.
• Support AI use cases using Mosaic AI model serving and inference endpoints.

The pay range for this role is$130k - $140kper annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
