Position overview: Term: 6+ months. Location: Rosemead, CA 91770. Pay: $130.00 – $160.00; commensurate with experience. Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
In this role, you will lead the development of objectives, conduct tests, analyze issues, and develop solutions to engineering problems; plan and design systems and facilities including lines, substations, system interconnections, and system protection; design system upgrades, system failure restoration, and modifications in compliance with Company, state, and federal regulations, standards, and requirements; participate in or lead research, development, and demonstration of emerging technologies, systems and equipment including metering, field equipment, materials, distributed energy resources, energy storage, and power system technologies; develop multi-year plans, schedules, and technical roadmaps and establish budgets and cost estimates, and develop tracking mechanisms for project progress and costs; define engineering standards, procedures, work methods, and specifications for equipment and oversee review, publication, and implementation of approved standards; may act as a project manager managing through matrixed employees/teams/vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead and achieve project objectives.
