This position is Classified Exempt; therefore is available to any applicant who meets the minimum requirements and/or special requirements or areas of assignment.

Employee will be assigned to the Division of Air Quality (DAQ), Compliance & Enforcement Section. With limited supervision, employee will perform administrative work for a wide variety of engineering services.
Selected employee must be eligible to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Must be proficient in computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Regular attendance is an essential part of this position.
The recommended candidate will be subject to a search of his or her Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) prior to being hired and annually thereafter or as needed.
Qualifying applicants will be required to complete an internet based profile assessment to compare the applicant's thinking and reasoning skills, behavioral traits and the occupational interests against the traits determined to be important to the posted position.
NOTE: At the appointing agency’s discretion, competitive candidates may receive probationary appointment pending official verification of the qualifying degree. The qualifying degree must be verified before the employee may be certified permanent.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering.
OR
Substitution: Bachelor's degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university with a major in Civil, Electrical, Electrical Design, Mechanical, Chemical or Mining Engineering Technology.
Special Requirement: A valid driver’s license is required.
