Job Title: Technical Analyst – Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Level II

Position Overview

LinTech Global is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Analyst (SME Level II) to support advanced field‑enable initiatives under the IRS‑CI Talon subtask. This role focuses on supporting both technical evaluation and deployment of field technology kits, biometric devices, and portable computing solutions for IRS special agents and investigative teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with excellent customer service skills and the ability to run smooth, low‑error engagements in both lab and field settings. This role is remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on technical support for field deployment of investigative tools, Talon kits, and Chromebooks across IRS‑CI units
  • Assist in technical evaluation and usability assessments of endpoint and biometric devices
  • Conduct structured lab environments and 2‑week field rotations for technical validation and acceptance
  • Act as a backup Scrum Lead and help drive team coordination and documentation of testing cycles
  • Support deployment planning, end‑user testing, and training coordination with field offices
  • Lead small working sessions with IRS stakeholders to walk through technical configurations and operational testing
  • Document test results, field issues, and recommendations in concise and actionable formats
  • Serve as a bridge between engineering teams and mission users to ensure tools meet field‑readiness standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent hands‑on experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting technical deployments or field testing in a federal or enterprise environment
  • Strong working knowledge of endpoint hardware, Chromebooks, mobile kits, and biometric devices
  • Ability to communicate clearly with users and produce near error‑free documentation and test summaries
  • Demonstrated ability to run working sessions, support technical pilots, and validate functionality
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain IRS MBI (Moderate Risk Background Investigation) – Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting IRS, law enforcement, or federal field operations
  • Familiarity with testing biometric sign‑on or multi‑factor authentication platforms
  • Agile/Scrum team experience; SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent certification preferred
  • Knowledge of mobile endpoint management, digital kits, and investigative IT tools
