Atlantic Medical Imaging is looking for a Technical Aide in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This full-time position involves assisting with patient preparation for imaging procedures, monitoring patient flow, and maintaining cleanliness of imaging rooms.

The candidate should be a High School Graduate with Basic Life Support certification, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with MRI equipment. A generous benefits package is included, with rates increasing based on experience.

Technical Aide Responsibilities

• Assists Technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and wheelchair transport to ensure timely and safe imaging procedures.
• Prepares charts and registers patients.
• Gathers information for upcoming MRI exams and schedules patient appointments.
• Supports workflow efficiency by coordinating patient flow and communicating with clinical staff.
• Greets patients and escorts patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions. Assists patients with dressing as needed.
• Takes patient history and processes paperwork.
• Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the Technologist is elsewhere.
• Safely enters and completes work responsibilities within the clinical area.
• Reviews and scrubs schedules in advance to verify exam accuracy and support efficient imaging workflow. Schedules and reschedules when needed.
• Prepares imaging rooms between patients, ensuring infection control and safety standards are met.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the designated modality suites, including equipment and supply areas.
• Monitors and restocks medical and departmental supplies to support daily operations.
• Upholds patient confidentiality and always adheres to HIPAA regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This full‑time, 40‑hour per week position is based in the Egg Harbor Township office, with coverage assigned in Galloway and Somers Point. The work schedule includes Monday‑Friday, 7:45am‑4:15pm, with shift times of 7:30am‑4pm and 8am‑4:30pm scheduled when needed. Schedules and locations are subject to change based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required; candidates must obtain within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• Willing and able to work around MRI equipment.
• Previous radiology practice experience a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills with the ability to utilize standard office equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated understanding of a positive patient experience.
• Highly organized and maintain attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
