Are you passionate about maximizing equipment performance, improving reliability, and driving operational success? As a Technical Advisor-Stationary Equipment, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our stationary equipment operates at peak efficiency. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to lead repairs, provide technical training, and implement solutions that enhance machine health and optimize costs—all while working with a dynamic team of industry professionals.

What You’ll Do

Equipment Optimization & Troubleshooting (50%)

  • While following maintenance SOP's provide technical assistance on repairs and manage machine problems to expedite solutions that increase reliability of machinery.
  • Work closely with Plant Managers, Operators, and Technicians to enhance reliability and machine performance.
  • Oversee and coordinate major warranty repairs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with dealers and vendors on critical equipment issues and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and assist plant personnel in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
  • Oversee the commissioning of new equipment installations.

Maintenance & Process Improvement (30%)

  • Manage key systems, including the oil sample program, tank monitoring system, and condition monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Work with Procurement to ensure a seamless supply chain for parts and inventory management.
  • Maintain detailed equipment records within our asset management system.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors for optimal service and support.

Training & Development (20%)

  • Identify, develop, and deliver training for technicians, plant operators, and management.
  • Conduct hands-on technical training both in the field or possible classroom setting.
  • Actively contribute to monthly and weekly meetings, including safety briefings and skill development sessions.
  • Partner with vendors and manufacturers to bring training and best practices to the team.

Experience & Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in stationary equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Deep knowledge of aggregate equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other key machinery is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of reliability-centered maintenance principles and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Experience leading or being part of an equipment management team is a plus!

This is a regional role with travel (75% daily, 25% overnight). Vehicle and tools provided!
