Okta is seeking a Technical Account Manager for Strategic Accounts to guide Fortune-level clients through complex identity deployments. You will lead multi-year adoption roadmaps, run PoCs, and deliver hands-on demos of SAML/OIDC integrations, MFA, and IAM governance. You will partner with CSMs and AEs to grow footprint.
This role requires 5+ years in customer-facing tech roles and deep IAM experience, with travel to SF or Chicago in early weeks and ongoing client work across industries.

This role is integral to the Strategic Segment team. As a P3 Technical Account Manager, you will serve as the primary technical advisor and advocate for a portfolio of Okta's largest, most complex global enterprises across industries such as Public Sector, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, and Technology.
You will guide enterprise customers through complex deployment architectures across core workforce solutions and developer-focused identity integrations:
Workforce Identity Cloud (Primary Focus):
Identity & Access Management (IAM): Single Sign-On (SSO), Adaptive MFA, Device Access, API Access Management, Secure Partner Access, Access Gateway, and Universal Directory.
Identity Governance & Administration (IGA): Lifecycle Management, Workflows, and Identity Governance (automated SCIM provisioning and zero standing privileges).
Privileged Access Management (PAM): Privileged Access controls.
Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR): Identity Security Posture Management, Identity Threat Protection, and Syslog integration.

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between: $128,000—$160,000 USD.
