Job summary

Google is seeking a senior Cloud-focused professional in San Francisco to accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud and lead end-to-end implementation journeys. You will provide strategic guidance, manage timelines, and align business transformation with technical delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to overcome adoption blockers, articulate customer journeys, and drive feature development. The role emphasizes executive-level engagement and scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role with stakeholders, managing customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations, technical support, or escalation management.
  • Experience in cloud consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey and providing technical guidance.
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome blockers and drive feature development across multiple work streams.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and lead quarterly reviews and executive sessions.
  • Plan customer events and launches with Support, Engineers, and SREs to ensure success and guide issues to resolution.
  • Develop best practices and assets from customer engagements to scale through partners.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, managing customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (e.g., launch or capacity planning, product release management), technical support, or escalation management.
  • Experience in cloud consulting.
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Experience in application or workload migration to public cloud providers.
  • Experience collaborating with teams, groups, business units, channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Understanding of IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and client management skills.

  • Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey. Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goal and business transformation strategies.
  • Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development. Lead across multiple work streams and teams to maintain customer momentum.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand customer’s business, develop strategic roadmaps, and lead quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to better understand business and technical needs.
  • Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support, Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to ensure customer success, and work with customers and Support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
  • Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate Google Cloud adoption.

US: $114000 - $164000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
