Job summary

Goodwin seeks a mid-level or senior associate to join our Technology Companies group, handling corporate transactions for technology companies, including venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and private or public offerings, with a mix of teamwork and independent work on substantial deal components.

Candidates should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and bar admission eligibility with a strong deal sheet to demonstrate deal execution capabilities.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to or eligibility for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
• Strong academic credentials and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Experience handling complex technology company transactions and supervising deal teams.

Responsibilities

• Represent technology companies in corporate and transactional matters, including venture financings, M&A, and equity offerings.
• Work effectively in teams and independently on substantial components of transactions.
• Maintain a strong deal sheet and contribute to client service and business development.
