A prominent law firm is seeking an associate to join its Strategic Transactions and Licensing group in the Los Angeles office. Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategic and/or commercial contracts drafting and negotiation.
• Experience in deal management of venture financing and/or M&A transactions.
• Experience in intellectual property litigation or counseling.
• Eagerness to work with startup and venture capital clients.
• Interest in technology transactions.
• JD class years: 2020–2023 or equivalent experience.
• Admission to the State Bar of California or Texas.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate licensing, partnering, and commercial agreements.
• Provide intellectual property, privacy, and product counseling directly to clients.
• Manage transactions across all stages of clients’ businesses.
