Job summary

Facebook is hiring for a lean high-frequency trading group in NYC with a distributed global presence, developing a modernized trading platform for cash equities and futures.

You will lead the development team, own the roadmap and system architecture, coordinate with legacy tech, and contribute daily code in C++. Prior management experience is a plus; the focus is on technical excellence and latency-sensitive delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the HFT/latency-sensitive trading space and C++ is required.
• Management/mentorship experience is a plus but not required—the technical skillset is the most important.

Responsibilities

• Management of development team.
• Ownership of roadmap/architecture for the new system and its integration with legacy technology, as well as daily hands-on code contribution.
