Job summary

Palmer Catholic Academy in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL seeks a Technology Teacher to lead computer-lab instruction for PK-8 students and support IT coordination. The role reports to the Principal and requires a certified Florida educator with a willingness to obtain Basic Diocesan Ministry Certification within two years.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who can integrate Catholic values into technology education and collaborate with staff to enhance learning and faith formation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Must maintain Professional Educator certification in the State of Florida.
• Must have or be able to obtain within two years Basic Diocesan Ministry Certification.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church and registered member of a Catholic parish faith community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach computer lab to PK-8 students and integrate technology into lessons.
• Support IT coordination duties as assigned by the principal.
• Collaborate with the principal to advance the school’s Catholic mission and curriculum.
• Maintain professional standards and confidentiality, and participate in professional development.
• Establish classroom management and engage students with technology-enabled learning.
