Job summary

UWM’s 12-week IT internship program in Pontiac, MI, offers hands-on exposure to software development, cybersecurity, and UX research. You’ll shadow teams, contribute to a summer project, and gain experience with C#, React, Kafka, Vue.js, Swift, Java, and more, all within a collaborative, innovative workplace.

Roles include Software Development, Salesforce Development, Information Security, UX, Generative AI, and Business/Quality Analysis, with all positions on-site in Pontiac and no remote work.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2027 or 2028 (current junior/senior status).
• Experience with on-site teams in Pontiac, MI.
• Interest in software development and cybersecurity plus UX-related areas.

Responsibilities

• Build experience using C#, React, Kafka, Vue.js, Swift, Java and other technologies.
• Learn software development life cycle and object-oriented programming.
