Job summary

Freddie Mac invites undergraduates in Computer Science/Engineering to join its Technology Summer Internship in McLean, VA. You will work on software development projects in an Agile setting, building skills and contributing to real solutions that support Freddie Mac’s mortgage business.

Qualifications

Undergrad degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related area.
Graduation date December 2027 or May 2028.
Familiarity with coding practices and languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies preferred.
Experience with Windows, Office Professional, Visio, PowerBI, SharePoint, etc.
Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Participate on project teams to develop software in an Agile environment.
Help define business and user needs and processes; identify solutions.
Assist in requirements analysis; help design applications based on system requirements.
Help build enhancements within existing applications.
Support implementation of software application changes.
