Job summary

Inverto North America (backed by BCG) seeks a Tech Sourcing Manager to lead strategic, enterprise-level sourcing projects across IT categories. You will guide stakeholder conversations, translate insights into clear sourcing strategies, and drive decisions that impact clients’ cost and performance.

You’ll shape proposals, support go-to-market efforts, and mentor teams while expanding Inverto’s Tech Sourcing capabilities in a high-growth environment. Expect travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in IT sourcing across multiple sub-categories.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).
• Proven ability to lead client engagements, manage teams, and shape project direction.
• Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships across procurement and IT functions.
• Strong working knowledge of data analysis, contract review, and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to delivery.
• Business-fluent written and spoken English language skills.
• Willingness to travel to work with clients and Inverto teams.
• An authentic, entrepreneurial spirit that thrives through team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic tech sourcing projects. Own end-to-end project delivery across critical IT categories - including infrastructure, SaaS, cloud services, and managed services.
• Engage with IT and procurement leadership. Prepare and lead high-level client meetings and workshops, translating technical complexity into actionable recommendations that drive commercial outcomes.
• Turn data into decisions. Analyze supplier performance, review contracts, and identify sourcing levers through structured benchmarks, client interviews, and financial analysis.
• Build robust business cases to support procurement transformation. Shape the evolution of Tech Sourcing. Develop new sourcing products, improve delivery tools, and bring forward innovative ideas to evolve Inverto’s growing Tech Sourcing practice.
• Contribute to winning new work. Bring credibility and expertise to pitch presentations, proposal development, opportunity assessments, and strategy discussions.
• Support and scale expertise. Train and mentor junior colleagues, guide project teams, and enable consistent delivery through shared tools and best practices.
• Build and maintain knowledge assets. Lead benchmarking exercises and improve internal databases to support faster, data-backed decisions across the team.
• Shape our internal community. Take ownership of functional roles within the Tech Sourcing Centre of Excellence - supporting recruitment, training, and team growth.
