Job summary

Staples is hiring Sales Specialists to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers find total solutions in-store and at the kiosk. You’ll be part of a fun, team-oriented retail culture with immediate hiring and training provided.

Responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, staying current on products, and responding quickly to customer requests while supporting profitability and store metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience
• Ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs
• Ability to collaborate in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Manage conflict in a calm, cooperative manner
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to lift/move materials (10–50 lbs) and stand/walk for long periods

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, inviting environment for customers and learn their tech needs
• Stay current on technology products and services to offer total solutions
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests on the sales floor
• Help the Tech department achieve key metrics, including profitable sales
• Be flexible with responsibilities (cashier, merchandising, returns, other duties)
