Sleep Lab Tech performs comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of the Medical Director and/or Cardiopulmonary Supervisor or designee. Compiles data into a report for physician review.

High school graduate. Successful completion of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care, EEG, or related health sciences program with an emphasis in sleep technology.
A minimum of 6 months experience performing sleep studies and CPAP/BiPAP titration preferred.
Non-respiratory care practitioners must show successful completion of A-STEP. RCP must hold current S.C. Respiratory Care Practitioner License. All others must complete A-Step program. RPSGT, CPSGT, or SDS credential preferred within 2 years of hire. BLS certification by the AHA required.
