Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Technology Services Designer I to convert design concepts into detailed layouts for building systems.

You will work from basis of design, inputs from senior designers, users, and field surveys, and perform code research to ensure accurate layouts. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in building systems design and proficiency with Revit MEP, with understanding of NEC and building technology standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience or training in building systems design.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting basis of design and information gathered from senior/project designers, users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
• Assist in coordinating building systems with other disciplines to ensure proper space planning and integration.
