Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in New York seeks an experienced Corporate Banking Associate to help manage key client relationships and lead investment strategy discussions in coordination with Institutional Banking. You will support cash management, trading, FX, and capital markets activities while driving revenue and managing risk.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience, a strong credit background, and excellent communication skills. MBA is preferred and SIE/Series licenses within 150 days of joining.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in corporate banking or related fields.
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Business preferred.
• Strong credit skills and knowledge of Citi’s credit policies.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• SIE, series 79 and 63 within 150 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Bankers to provide relationship management support.
• Assist with day-to-day cash management activities, trading initiatives, FX, loan activity, and related capital markets efforts.
• Support Bankers in cross-selling Citi’s full spectrum of products and services.
• Evaluate filings, research, operations, and forecasts to produce strategic analyses.
• Stay abreast of market trends and competitive landscape.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citi policies.
