Job summary

Staples is hiring Sales Specialists who deliver exceptional customer service, helping customers find total solutions in-store and via the kiosk. You’ll work to meet customer needs, contribute to a friendly team culture, and participate in training after applying.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is required.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Willingness to work flexible scheduling based on store needs.
• Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
• Capable of collaborating with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10–50 pound range and stand/walk continuously.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, inviting environment for customers as you learn their tech and overall needs.
• Stay current on technology products, offerings and services to offer a total solution.
• Respond quickly and resourcefully to customer requests on the sales floor.
• Ensure the Tech department achieves key metrics, including profitable sales.
• Be flexible on various responsibilities (e.g., cashier, merchandising, returns, other duties as assigned).
