Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our store team in Suffolk, VA. You will grow your career by delivering exceptional customer service, identifying customer needs, and providing top-down product recommendations for complete tech solutions.

You will close sales with strong communication, participate in ongoing training, and may engage in outbound outreach to Verizon customers. Community events help grow loyalty and local presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred, demonstrated through work or military service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays with four weeks notice of schedule.
• Open to picking up additional shifts to earn more during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by asking questions and building connections.
• Present product insights and recommend solutions for a complete top-down sales approach.
• Close sales using strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Pursue ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory functions.
• Possibly contact Verizon customers via outbound calls/texts to grow base.
• Engage with the community at off-site events to expand loyalty.
