Job summary

Best Buy in Hickory, NC is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to be the face of our store, helping customers find the right tech and services. You’ll learn the products and confidently guide purchases with friendly service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, performing demos, answering questions, handling cashier duties, and supporting in-store pickup and curbside orders. Flexible scheduling and ongoing learning are available to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations across departments
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing learning and development
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders
