Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. is seeking a Safety Technician to inspect and service supplied air equipment, masks, SCBA's, and 5 min escape packs to support safe operations.

Must hold a current TWIC card and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and basic computer skills. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment with OT, nights, and weekends as needed. This position offers the opportunity to build customer relationships, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with

  • Ability to pass background and drug/ alcohol test.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries
  • Clean, inspect, and service Safety Equipment
  • Fill breathing air cylinders
  • Issue safety equipment to customers
  • Build positive customer relationships
  • Restock inventory and maintain accurate counts
  • Abide by specific customer contract agreements
  • On call as needed- Some OT, nightshift, and weekends are required
  • Perform other related duties as required

Total Safetyis looking for aSafety Technicianto add to their safety conscious team. The Safety Technician cleans and inspects supplied air equipment, masks, scba's, and 5 min escape pack.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and gloves. Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures. Industrial lighting provided. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal but can be greater when using equipment.
