Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas offers a prestigious, paid summer internship spanning IT risk, finance, and cybersecurity. Interns work in the Dallas office for approximately 10–12 weeks starting mid-to-late May through August, with dedicated staff mentors and cohort programming.

Interns gain exposure to central banking, direct access to senior leaders, and networking opportunities while performing meaningful work in technology risk and supervisory functions.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in groups.
• Good working knowledge of technology concepts and risk.
• Exposure to audit, banking, or cybersecurity is preferable but not required.
• Undergraduate entering junior or senior year in Finance, IS, CS, CS/Cybersecurity or related degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare reports on bank technology, digital payments, and cybersecurity risks.
• Provide analytical support to examination teams reviewing IT and cybersecurity risk.
• Review bank or service provider examination reports.
• Participate in supervisory and risk meetings and related organizational functions.
• Work with department management on special projects and other time-sensitive assignments.
