The Northern Trust Company invites a senior professional to lead the Technology Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program within Global Technology. You will partner with technology leaders, risk, compliance, and audit to drive risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.

Successful candidates will bring deep knowledge of technology risk management, governance, and control frameworks, with a focus on delivering actionable insights to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field.
• Prior experience in Technology Risk or a related field.
• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and ongoing maturity of the Technology Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program across Global Technology.
• Drive consistent identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of technology risks and controls.
• Partner with Technology leaders, Control Officers, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to strengthen risk visibility and remediation outcomes.
• Provide risk advisory support on assessments, control design, effectiveness, and treatment strategies.
• Facilitate governance forums and risk reviews to evaluate exposures and risk appetite.
• Develop risk reporting, metrics, dashboards, and management information for senior leadership.
