Opportunity Overview

Join our Cybersecurity and Technology Controls team as a Tech Risk Assurance Lead, where you'll shape risk culture and ensure technological safeguards in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities

1. Lead expert technical risk assurance and control oversight to ensure the firm's products and lines of business meet their objectives while effectively managing risk.
2. Identify, assess, and mitigate emerging risks and vulnerabilities by working with cross-functional teams.
3. Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies, standards, and controls to foster a robust risk culture and continuous improvement.
4. Analyze findings and telemetry data, conduct root cause analysis, and articulate risks effectively to stakeholders.
5. Collaborate across teams to analyze high-priority risks, evaluate standards and controls, and drive remediation efforts.
6. Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
7. Stay updated on technological and cybersecurity developments to enhance risk management processes and adopt innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or related fields focusing on risk assessment and mitigation.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and root cause analysis.
• Expertise in at least one domain such as Technology Operations, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection & Cryptography, Security Operations, Security Configuration, SDLC, Technology Resiliency, or Identity and Access Management.
• Deep understanding of cyber risk scenarios for on-premises, SaaS, and cloud solutions.
• Excellent knowledge of cyber and operations risk management principles and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and prioritize under stringent timelines.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and ethics related to financial industry cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI Prompt Engineering expertise.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Certifications in cybersecurity or risk management are advantageous.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
