Capital One is seeking a Senior Director, Tech Risk & Analysis to drive the strategy and modernization of enterprise technology risk and compliance across core towers including control platforms, assurance operations, data analytics, control performance, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
12+ years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, and risk management.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is preferred.
Professional security or risk management certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC are preferred.

Responsibilities

Understand technology systems at an aggregate level (networks, apps, cloud, data).
Identify vulnerabilities and assess risk to protect the enterprise.
Lead cyber control programs and drive risk mitigation.
Leverage reporting tools to analyze projects and inform policy.
Communicate cyber risk to executives and risk forums.
May use code to automate analysis and repeatable tasks.
Leverage Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and charts.
Stay current on evolving threats and regulatory changes.
