Capital One is seeking an energetic Tech Risk & Analysis professional to join the Audit team. The role focuses on audits of critical technology functions including cloud-based implementations, application controls, and cybersecurity risks.

It is a hybrid position with in-office days and competitive salary ranges across locations. The role requires at least 2 years in technology and cybersecurity risk, a bachelor’s degree or military experience, and relevant cloud/controls knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity and risk auditing.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures of critical technology functions, cloud-based infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk management, application, and third-party management.
• Perform risk assessments of business activities and communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule and meet high-quality standards.
• Prepare clear, organized documentation to support work performed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and the Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics and tools during planning and fieldwork phases of audits.
• Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely remediation.
