TexomaCare in Denison, TX is hiring a Radiologic Technologist, Limited Scope (LMRT) to perform radiology services in compliance with state rules, and to support the care team across physicians, advanced practitioners and staff.

The role also includes non-clinical duties, patient check-in/out, and contributing to a supportive environment for patients while maintaining quality image acquisition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• LMRT certification is required.
• One year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

The Radiologic Technologist, Limited Scope (Limited Scope X-Ray Operator, Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist, LMRT OR Basic Machine Operator) is responsible for performing all Radiology services in accordance with the state regulation for limited scope of practice in radiography exam modules. In addition, the Radiologic Technologist, Limited Scope (X-Ray Tech, Limited Scope X-Ray Operator, LMRT) will be responsible for performing other non-clinical duties, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for patients and other staff while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practitioners, front office and clinical staff

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. Qualifications

Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Current BLS/CPR certification required
* Limited Scope of Practice Rad Tech Certification required

Work experience:
* Limited Scope of Practice Rad Tech Certification required and one year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
* Familiarity with medical terminology required
* Experience with patient check-in and check-out process (according to clinic protocol)

Knowledge:
* General medical office procedures

Skills:
* Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Abilities:
