SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a QC Technician to verify product conformance before shipping. The role focuses on inspecting products, confirming labels and revisions, and maintaining accurate records. You will package items per requirements and support KPI targets while adhering to 5S standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic Excel skills. The position involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds in a warehouse environment.

• Record data and assist with ESD audits as required.

SummaryThe QC Technician is responsible to verify the product meets specified requirement prior to shipping.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.Daily Responsibilities % of Job – 90%Perform inspection and report any abnormal issue.Check product information is correct.Make sure the product meets the system requirement before shipping out: label, revision, information tracking under system.Package product as requirement.Meet and exceed KPI defined to meet the business and operational requirement.Turn in KPI report on time, end of the working day.Check and keep record for ESD Audit daily.Follow 5S standard.Utilize the company’s time to be efficient and productive. This is including the punctuality from break and personal matter.When required, work assignment can changed based on project needs like inspection, testing, data input.Warehouse Efficiencies % of Job – 5%Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times.Team Building/Leadership % of Job – 5%Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company’s culture.Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school graduate or equivalent.Requires basic Excel computer skills.Essential Skills:Job requires the ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete your work.Needs demonstrated ability to read, and follow written instructions and ideas.Requires the repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools.Requires hands-on, ambition, and drive to succeed - “Makes things happen”.Must be goal oriented and accustomed to achieving results through teamwork.Competencies:Requires the physical ability to lift 25 poundsAble to stand 8 hours consistently and push, pull, twist and lift at a minimum 10lbs container/boxes.Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines and work independently.Knowledge using MS Excel to read instructions and report.Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit for long periods. Employee must be able to lift objects approximately up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
