Are you an experienced UX Designer (Gaming) with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced UX Designer (Gaming) to work at their company in Redmond, WA.

Position Summary: The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through an understanding of end-user needs.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Engage with the business development team and/or customer early on to gain a deeper understanding of the customer's business goals.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
• Purpose of the Team: The team supports web and UX design for a high-visibility gaming studio website.
• Key Projects: This role involves ad hoc UX design work based on your strengths. Tasks may include working on account spaces with profile/player-facing features, supporting commerce, or game pages, especially if you excel in visual design. Strong graphic design skills will be utilized throughout the role.
• Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: The role consists of 15% meetings and 85% focused work.
• Portfolio: The ideal portfolio features a mix of real shipped work and self-driven projects that demonstrate unique passion and personal growth. It should reflect a balance between analytical/technical/scientific thinking and the visual fidelity of interface design. Experience in the gaming industry and dynamic interfaces is a plus. Quality is prioritized over quantity.

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years in the field.
• Degrees or Certifications Required: No degree is required.
• Best vs. Average: Candidates with significant previous gaming industry experience and a stellar portfolio are preferred.
• UI/UX Design in Figma | 5 years of experience
• Graphic Design in Photoshop, illustrative/visual skills | 5 years of experience
• Gaming Industry Experience | 5 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required
• 5-7 years of experience required
