Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a telemetry monitor technician to oversee continuous electrocardiographic telemetry and recognize arrhythmias. Responsible for the monitoring and recognition of continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department.
Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
Current BLS certification. Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
