Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine laboratory testing under supervision. The position supports the hospital's commitment to high-quality patient care in Palmdale, CA.

Under the direction of the CLS, Department Manager and/or Supervisor, the MLT will follow established policies and procedures and ensure accurate results. A CA license and an associate degree are required, with CPI training to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
• California State License for Clinical Medical Laboratory Technician (current) required.
• One year experience as an MLT is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following the department and hospital policies.
• Operate under the direction of the CLS, Department Manager and/or Supervisor.
