Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a technology-focused site.

Position Type: Full Time with a schedule including daytime shifts. Pay rate is $16.48 per hour. Requirements include minimum age and a high school diploma, plus background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unsecured access points, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
