Job summary

Aviso, LLC is hiring a listing assistant in Milpitas, CA. You will learn to create accurate product descriptions, research pricing, and catalog pre-owned tech. You will photograph items, list them online, and inspect them for quality before posting.

You will also monitor holding periods, keep inventory records up to date, and prepare sold items for shipment. No formal experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Background notes no formal experience is required and training will be provided.
• Casual selling experience (eBay, OfferUp, Mercari) is considered a plus.
• Tech knowledge from hobbies is helpful for evaluating listings.
• Comfort with using computers for listing and research.

Job description

• Pay & Hours: $23.00–$25.00/hr | Full-time, Monday–Friday (day shift) 10AM-6PM or 9AM-5PM
• Location: Milpitas, CA

The Day-to-Day

• Learn from an experienced lister on product descriptions, pricing research, and cataloging pre-owned tech.
• Take pictures of electronics, List them, clean and inspect products
• Track warehouse holding periods, manage inventory records, and package sold items for shipment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Background: Zero formal experience needed—they will train you. Casual selling experience (eBay, OfferUp, Mercari) and hobbyist tech knowledge is a plus. Understanding market value is a plus. Must be comfortable with use of computers as you will be using this for listing.
• Key Traits: Eager to learn, detail-driven with web research, and comfortable with a structured daily routine.
