About this opportunity

Welcome to the Cross-Border Payments and SWIFT Technology Software Development team! The Cross-Border Payments and SWIFT Technology area provides solutions to ensure secure, smooth, and reliable payment transactions to Nordea’s corporate customers including reducing risks and enhancing speed and transparency. We follow SAFe principles and our development teams are located in multiple countries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working as a Tech Lead developer
• Developing and implementing business features in Nordea’s Cross-Border Payments and SWIFT Technology area
• Helping on architecture modernization
• Cooperating with other agile team members and stakeholders

The role is based in Gdańsk/Gdynia or in Helsinki. We work in a hybrid work model – 60% of the time.

Who you are

• Know how to code with Java, have good communication skills and feel comfortable working with different stakeholders

Your experience and background:

• At least 8-10 years of Java Software Development
• Very useful if you have knowledge of design patterns and API Module building and implementation
• Nice to have knowledge of some of the following technologies: Kafka, WebLogic, IBM MQ, SWIFT Standard ISO20022, Splunk, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, GIT
• Experience on banking payment systems is a benefit
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Good communication skills and proactive attitude
