• Significant professional engineering experience with staff-level or equivalent impact as an individual contributor.
• Ability to reason across full-stack applications from UX to backend services and data stores.
• Strong data-engineering judgment across analytical modeling, pipelines, lineage, and data contracts.
• Proven track record designing, building, shipping, and operating consequential systems.
• Ability to lead important technical decisions and cross-team initiatives through influence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Software Engineering and Data Engineering managers as a peer technical leader.
• Directly own architecture, implementation, launch, and operation of high‑impact initiatives.
• Guide cross‑team design decisions related to security, reliability, data quality, and cost of ownership.
• Establish engineering standards across architecture, APIs, testing, and observability.
• Advance engineering practices for AI-enabled workflows and evaluation.
• Collaborate across backend, full‑stack, data, and big‑data systems with domain experts.
• Translate ambiguous needs into durable technical systems with stakeholders.
• Raise team capability through reviews, mentoring, and reusable references.
