$80/hr - $85/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Fortune 15 Health Services client is seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to support their Pharmacy AI / ML Center of Excellence. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, identifying opportunities for AI‑driven innovation and guiding solution design and execution. The Tech Lead will partner with business and operations teams to gather requirements, lead solution design, and provide technical direction to AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists. You will translate complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders, drive end‑to‑end ownership of strategic AI and machine learning initiatives, and support the adoption of emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes. This position reports into the Pharmacy AI / ML Center of Excellence and collaborates closely with Product Owners, Operations Leaders, and Business Stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that enhance patient experiences and automate manual processes at scale. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams are essential for success in this role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with business and operations teams to gather requirements and identify AI/ML‑driven process improvement opportunities.
• Lead solution design efforts and provide technical direction across AI Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Drive end‑to‑end ownership of strategic AI and machine learning initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure scalable, high‑quality solution delivery.
• Present project updates, technical roadmaps, and business outcomes to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Support the adoption of emerging AI technologies that improve operational efficiency and patient experiences.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, technical leadership, or related technology roles.
• Demonstrated success gathering business requirements, designing technical solutions, and leading complex project delivery efforts.
• Strong hands‑on technical background with the ability to effectively partner with and guide development teams.
• Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Analytics, or Intelligent Automation initiatives.
• Healthcare industry experience required; Pharmacy, PBM, Payer, or Health Services experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive technology initiatives aligned to business objectives.
