Job summary

Leidos Inc is looking for an Engineering Technical Lead in Chantilly, Virginia to support a technical development program for the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs. This role includes guiding existing systems and leading a team to create custom interfaces and REST services for digital policy management.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and extensive experience, and will be responsible for overseeing integration testing and tool administration.

Role Overview

Leidos is seeking an Engineering Technical Lead for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs and IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management.

Responsibilities include:

• Support existing systems and provide guidance to build new technologies.
• Develop new policies and integrate them into an enterprise service.
• Participate in deployment and administration of tools and integration testing.
• Lead a team of database developers, systems engineers, software developers, cyber security engineers, and test engineers to develop custom user interfaces and REST services that manage digital policies.
• Assist in installation, deployment, and maintenance of products.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Typically requires a Master's degree and 16 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
• Supporting call-in on off‑hours; identifying personnel needs when issues arise during off‑hours.
• Managing multiple product backlogs.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• Experience with security accreditation process.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Experience as a Systems Engineer providing requirements and system interface analysis for enterprise‑scale development projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining interface control documents between components in an enterprise operational system.
• Strong communication and organization skills to support development team and stakeholders on intent of the requirements and user stories.
• Translating user requirements into agile sprint stories and acceptance criteria achievable within each sprint.
• Experience with agile project management methodologies, including managing product backlogs.
• Hands‑on experience with the customer’s A&A process to achieve system approval.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience integrating COTS applications within the customer space.
• Experience with requirements management on a program interacting with and supporting multiple customers.
• Experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience with the XACTA security accreditation tool.
