Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including ELL and exceptional education students.
• Select, develop, modify and adapt materials and resources which support learning objectives.
• Establish routines and uses appropriate behavior management procedures.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing as assigned.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress; interpret data for instructional planning.
• Communicate high learning expectations for all students and learning targets relative to real world experiences.
• Provide instruction on safety procedures and proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Foster student responsibility and respect for diversity; model ethics and leadership.
• Supervise extracurricular and co-curricular activities as assigned.
• Support school improvement initiatives and participate in school activities.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with laws and board policies.
