Job summary

LHH is seeking a strategic Manager of FP&A-Tech to serve as the finance business partner supporting Technology and IT leadership. This role will lead financial planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and decision support for technology organizations while helping ensure spending aligns with business strategy, operational priorities, and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, or Technology Finance experience.
• Experience supporting Technology, IT, Engineering, Product, or Digital organizations.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with integrated models.
• Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic financial planning knowledge.
• Familiarity with Oracle/Hyperion or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of software capitalization and technology accounting principles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for Technology and Digital.
• Develop financial models for headcount, labor costs, cloud infra, software investments, capex, and tech opex.
• Partner with Technology leaders to evaluate investments and allocate resources.
• Analyze monthly performance and explain variances vs budget and forecast.
• Recommend actions to improve spending efficiency while supporting strategic initiatives.
• Perform ROI, NPV, IRR, payback analyses for strategic investments.
• Monitor post-implementation results to ensure expected outcomes.
• Prepare executive presentations communicating investment rationale and risks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Technology teams.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and financial frameworks for tech investments.
• Drive forecasting accuracy and improve reporting processes.
• Lead special projects and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership.
