Summerlin Hospital, part of the VHS network owned by Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks staff to support patient care under RN supervision. The hospital emphasizes a busy maternity area, NICU/PICU, and advanced cardiovascular services in a high-standard care environment.

Qualified candidates will need a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, crisis management, and preferably basic cardiac arrhythmia and IV certifications or training.

• IV course completion required for techs working with IVs.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children's Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women's health, and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get With the Guidelines program.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department preferred. Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course.

License/Certification

Current BLS Certification required. Approved Crisis Management Course required. Certificate of completion of basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred. Certified Phlebotomist preferred. IV Certification preferred.
