  • Requires the ability to respond to call within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of surgical sites.
  • Practices aseptic technique.
  • Assist in preparation of room prior to endoscopic procedures and clean room after procedures.
  • Assist staff and surgeons to insure instruments, supplies, and equipment are available for endo procedures.
  • Take assigned call as required.
  • Recognize age-specific needs of patients of all psychosocial and/or cultural backgrounds.

BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
