Qualifications

• Must hold Class A CDL or equivalent as required by state.
• Background and drug testing required by federal/state regulations.
• Must pass DOT physical because vehicle weight exceeds 10,000 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle according to state and federal laws.
• Transports loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follows signals.
• Assists with loading/unloading and returns equipment to designated area.
• Keeps signed invoices and shipping paperwork; delivers documents after route completion.
• Performs routine truck maintenance and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Arranges trailers in yards for optimal loading.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
