Job summary

Avangrid Internship Program is a 10-week paid summer experience designed to provide meaningful exposure to the energy industry through real-world projects, professional development, and mentorship. The program follows a 70-20-10 development model, with 70% of learning gained through hands-on project work, 20% through mentoring, networking, and relationship

Qualifications

• Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or first-year Master's student with at least one semester remaining before graduation.
• Pursuing a degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science/Analytics, Related discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in the applicable field and the energy industry.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and communicate findings effectively. Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply academic learning to real-world business, technical, and operational challenges.
• Contribute to meaningful project-based assignments aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with professionals across teams and business functions.
• Develop technical and professional skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking.
