Job summary

Clover Health Services in Arcata, California is seeking a CT Technologist to operate a multi-slice CT scanner and perform diagnostic radiology procedures. The role requires independent judgment in patient care and technical tasks in a CT department.

Shifts run 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM with a 13-week duration. Housing and travel benefits are part of the compensation package, along with a health benefits plan.

Qualifications

Formal radiologic technology program completion.
State Radiologic license required.
BLS certification per American Heart Association upon hire.
ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
ARRT Computed Tomography certification.
Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience, CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
Perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures requiring independent judgment.
Utilize a multi-slice CT scanner to support patient care.

Operates computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs of patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner.

Qualifications

- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program
- State Radiologic license required
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography
- 2 years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred
