Chicago Trading Company is seeking a Business Analyst on the Technology COO team in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on supporting technology operations, project planning, and cross‑team collaboration to advance business goals.

The position emphasizes collaboration with CTO, Technology Leadership, and finance/firm leadership, offering exposure to trading, finance tech, and process improvements within a hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3–4 years of relevant work experience in management consulting, technology services for finance, or finance tech.
• Experience or exposure to trading is highly preferred.
• Strong collaboration, coordination, and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations of the Technology organization; help track teams’ goals, milestones, and deliverables.
• Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution, including timelines and dependencies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations for CTO, Technology Leadership, firm‑wide COO, and businesses.
• Coordinate communication across technology, enterprise, and business teams to align priorities.
• Contribute to process improvement by mapping workflows and suggesting enhancements or new tools.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation for technology teams.
• Organize and facilitate cross‑team meetings and trainings.
